Accessibility statement

We attach great importance to providing equal and accessible service to the entire public, including people with disabilities. This page sets out the adjustments made on the website and at the office, the known limitations, and how to contact us about any accessibility matter.

Updated: 20 September 2026

The office's commitment to accessibility

The office of Amos Ilan, Advocate and Notary, works to make the website and the services provided through it accessible, in the belief that accessibility is part of the service itself and not an add-on. Accessibility is implemented in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

The website's level of accessibility

The website has been made accessible in accordance with Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at conformance level AA.

Adjustments made on the website

  • Sound semantic structure: a heading hierarchy, labelled navigation regions and a skip-to-content link
  • Full support for keyboard navigation, including a clear indication of the element in focus
  • Support for screen readers, including alternative text for images and labels for form fields
  • Contrast ratios between text and background that meet the requirements of the standard
  • Avoiding reliance on colour alone as a means of conveying information
  • Suitable for viewing on mobile devices and at increased zoom, without loss of content or functionality
  • Respecting the user's operating-system preference for reduced motion and animation
  • Live text that can be enlarged, rather than images of text

The website's accessibility widget

In the corner of the screen there is an accessibility button that opens a menu of personal adjustments. The menu is also accessible by keyboard, and the settings are saved in the browser and remain in effect on every page of the website. You can choose:

  • Increasing and decreasing text size
  • High-contrast mode
  • Highlighting links
  • Readable font
  • Enlarged mouse cursor
  • Stopping animations and transitions
  • Resetting all adjustments
Please note. The accessibility widget supplements the accessibility of the website itself and does not replace it. The website was built from the outset to be accessible even without activating the widget.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. Limitations we are aware of:

  • Third-party documents or files linked from the website, including legislation, case law and implementation directives published on the authorities' websites, are outside our control and may not be fully accessible
  • Embedded external content, where present, is subject to the accessibility level of the provider that operates it
  • Some new content may not yet have undergone a full accessibility review

We work to remedy these limitations on an ongoing basis. If you come across an element that is not accessible, please let us know and it will be fixed as soon as possible.

Accessibility of the office

Our office is located at 17 Tzahal Street, Ness Ziona. Clients who wish to enquire about the physical accessibility arrangements at the office, or to arrange an adjustment they need for a meeting, are welcome to contact us in advance by phone or email, and we will be glad to help.

In addition, much of the service is provided remotely: phone and video calls, receipt of documents by email or WhatsApp, and online tax reporting and registration. Anyone for whom coming in person is difficult can receive most of the service without visiting the office.

Accessibility enquiries

Have you encountered an accessibility problem on the website or in the service? Do you have a request for an adjustment? We would be glad to hear from you. So that we can deal with it quickly, please state the page on which you encountered the difficulty, the type of device and browser you used, and a short description of the problem.

Accessibility enquiries are reviewed and dealt with as soon as possible, and you will receive a reply.
