Paying the contractor? The mistake that costs dearly
Paying the contractor with a voucher in a 30-second video
Video transcript
Today: a mistake buyers of new apartments make. They transfer money to the contractor by a regular transfer, without a voucher. Such a payment may not be backed by a guarantee. Pay only with the vouchers from the payment book, so the payment is secured under the law. The contractor asked for a different transfer? Demand a valid voucher, and document the request in writing.
Full explanation: Sale Law guarantee: what it secures, and when purchasers discover they do not have one. What a Sale Law guarantee secures, which forms of security are permitted under the Sale Law (Assurance of Investments), when a developer must provide security, and what to do when it is not issued.
